Culminis is an international not-for-profit organization devoted to the development and growth of the IT community. After supporting and connecting professional user groups and associations, student organizations, and solution providers for more than two years we have come to understand the goals and needs of each group, as well as the resources they have to share. With this knowledge we are developing programs that ensure a meaningful and equitable exchange of those resources, ultimately elevating the status of the IT Pro both in their industry and in the community.

Culminis is not a super user group and we have no membership for individual IT Professionals, we will accomplish our mission by working in cooperation with the IT Professional community. SOLUTION PROVIDERS

A solution provider is any individual or organization who researches, documents, and solves problems related to information management, or information management systems and technologies.

Solution Providers, for too long, have been apart from the community, instead of being a part of it.

This situation has created a communications gap between user groups and solution providers, depriving each of a mutually beneficial exchange of resources.

Culminis has created the Culminis Solution Provider Network (CSPN)to help improve communication and cooperation between these two vital members of the IT Professional community.

IT PROFESSIONAL USER GROUPS

To define an IT professional user group we must first define an IT professional. An IT professional is any person gainfully employed in the study, design, development, implementation, support, or management of computer-based systems.

As volunteer organizations, the greatest challenge faced by IT Pro user groups is the challenge of TIME.

Culminis strives to give some time back to user group leaders by providing a single reliable repository from which to draw the resources they need; things like speakers, supported presentations, hands-on-labs, community awareness opportunities, a web presence, and so on.
